Privacy Policy

Who we are

This site and the Kitcrew waitlist are operated by Kitcrew, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. For any privacy question or request, contact privacy@kit-crew.com. Full legal details are available on request.

What we collect

If you register your interest, we collect:

  • your email address (required), and
  • optionally, the department or industry you work in and any notes you choose to add.

We do not ask for your name. Our servers keep standard web-server access logs, which include IP addresses, to help keep the service secure and reliable.

Why we collect it, and our legal basis

We use your email solely to tell you when Kitcrew launches and to send occasional updates about it. The optional department and notes help us understand who is interested and build the right product. Our legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form. We do not use this information for anything else.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data, ever. We use one provider only to operate the service:

  • Proton Mail (Proton AG, Switzerland) to send our email, both the confirmation and any launch updates. Your email address is processed by Proton only to deliver these messages. Switzerland is recognised by the UK as providing adequate data protection.

Everything else, including your signup record and this website, runs on our own servers in the United Kingdom. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics that identify you.

Where it is stored, and for how long

Your details are stored on our own servers in the United Kingdom. We keep them until Kitcrew launches and you have had the chance to become a customer, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data, or to stop emailing you, at any time. Email privacy@kit-crew.com, or use the unsubscribe link in any update we send you. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
